Welcome to the website of Vermijo Community Garden (“we,” “us,” “our,” “Vermijo”), located at vermijocommunitygarden.earth (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who We Are
Vermijo Community Garden is a shared, collaborative community garden in Old Colorado City, Colorado Springs, focused on permaculture, food resilience, and community connection.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site to learn about the garden, our events and calendar, membership opportunities, and to contact or subscribe to updates from us. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Site by, anyone else.
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its related systems
- Submit false or misleading information through our forms or registrations
- Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Site in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
- Garden Membership and Events
Information about garden plots, memberships, volunteer days, classes, and events is provided for general informational purposes. Membership fees, plot availability, and program details are subject to change and are confirmed directly with Vermijo Community Garden or, for certain classes, our third-party program partners (such as Wild Oasis Permaculture).
Registration for classes, workshops, or ticketed events through third-party platforms is subject to that platform’s own terms. We are not responsible for the policies, availability, or transactions handled by third-party ticketing or registration services.
Intellectual Property
The content on this Site, including text, photos, logos, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Vermijo Community Garden, unless otherwise noted, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share content from the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Third-Party Links and Content
The Site contains links to and embedded content from third-party platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and event or ticketing partners. We do not control these third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Your use of any third-party site is subject to that site’s own terms and policies.

Garden Activities
Please note that participation in in-person garden activities, volunteer days, and events is governed separately by any waivers, safety guidelines, or membership agreements provided at the garden itself, in addition to these Site Terms.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
